Schools
- Rachel Carson Elementary School, a pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade public primary school that is the home of 950 students. Named a National Blue Ribbon School, 80% of professional staff at Rachel Carson hold a Masters Degree or higher.
- Lakelands Park Middle School, a sixth through eighth-grade public school, is the largest middle school in Montgomery County. Its 153,588 square foot, three-story building has an excellent teaching staff who is committed to academic achievement and provides increased opportunities for the growth of its students.
